Clay Porr

Executive Pastor

Originally from Trumbull, Connecticut, Clay joined the Renaissance staff in the summer of 2007. He received his BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and his ThM in New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Certificate in Biblical Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation affiliated with Westminster Theological Seminary. Clay spent 6 years as a software engineer and manager for Unisys Corporation, and most recently as a chaplain on the staff of the Princeton Evangelical Fellowship, where he served for 13 years. Clay’s primary responsibilities are to provide organizational leadership to Renaissance. He also contributes his teaching gifts in various studies and services.

Clay, his wife, Anne, and their two daughters, Sarah and Christine, live in Summit.
